Good afternoon.
As the website will no doubt have told you my name is Pete and I'm the new finance officer. Been in the role for almost two weeks now with a couple of weeks of handover beforehand.
It's the first time I've been in Sheffield over the summer and it's very quiet at the union, but it's a good opportunity to get into the swing of things so that before the next academic year rolls around. However, graduation week next week will give a good taster of what it's like to work here when the place is really busy.
